Wolf Willow Homeowner Testimonial: John and Stevens
John and Stevens are the latest Wolf Willow residents to share their homeowner story with us. They moved to the community in August 2021 and have since had some time to settle into their new Jayman BUILT home. Read on to see what drew them to the community, what was on their home buying “must haves” wish list, and what they’re looking forward to most living in Wolf Willow.
Why Wolf Willow?
When choosing which community to buy their home in, it was important to John and Stevens to be “close to Fish Creek and or parks” and to be in “a young family neighbourhood”. Another added perk was that Wolf Willow is “still in YYC, but far enough that we felt we could escape and also that we were close to my parents.”
Wolf Willow sits on the edge of Fish Creek Park in south Calgary, which is home to more than 80km of trails and pathways. After two years of riding down to Wolf Willow and watching the community develop, they knew “it was our dream home/neighborhood.” They love being able to go for walks all seasons of the year and seeing the wildlife and peacefulness of the Bow River and the surrounding area.
Choosing a Homebuilder
Once they settled on living in Wolf Willow, it was time to choose a homebuilder for their dream home! John and Stevens decided to go with a Jayman BUILT front garage style home, because they “offered the design and price we wanted.”
Jayman BUILT offers two styles of homes in Wolf Willow: laned and front garage. Each style offers several home models, so you can pick which design works best for you and your family. Each Jayman BUILT home has woven purposeful innovation and functionality into their designs. These luxurious and spacious homes are perfect for growing families looking for a little extra room. They’re also Wolf Willow’s certified eco-friendly homebuilder!
Looking Forward to the Future
So, what’s it like living in Wolf Willow? They said, “Everyday we feel like we won the lottery living in the valley.” When asked what attracted them the most to the community, John said, “Being down close to the river and beautiful walkways.” They’re looking forward to the continued development of the pathways, parks, and green spaces in the community.
John, Stevens, and other Wolf Willow residents will be excited to know that there are two new park designs scheduled to be designed in 2022 and built in 2023 – the Fish and Deer parks – which will be near the new entrances to Fish Creek Park. Residents can also look forward to the highly anticipated dog park which is coming soon. Currently, residents can enjoy green space in Wolf Willow’s Promenade and Osprey Park.
