Wolf Willow 2025 Community Update: A Look Back at Our Favourite Moments and What’s Coming for 2026

As 2025 comes to a close, Wolf Willow is celebrating a year filled with meaningful progress and exciting milestones. From newly completed landscaping and show home parades, to rare riverfront opportunities along the Bow River, and the early stages of a major new park, this year brought big moments that continue to shape life in the community. Wolf Park: A Year of Play, Connection, and Community

Thoughtfully designed accessible play equipment also ensures every child can join in the fun, making the park a truly inclusive destination. 

Additionally, a unique fitness/parkour park brings a variety of features for adventurous teens and young adults. From spiderwalks to wheel bridges, each piece of equipment will test balance, agility, strength and endurance and is perfect for anyone ready to unleash their inner Ninja Warrior. 

Lastly, Wolf Park provides a hugely anticipated multi-use sports court to provide even more opportunities for outdoor recreation and play. Whether you’re shooting hoops or sharpening your racquet skills, this flexible space can accommodate a full-sized basketball court or up to three pickleball courts. Just make sure to bring your own equipment (pickleball nets not included). 

Fish Park Construction Begins 

Construction officially began this year on Fish Park, Wolf Willow’s third animal-themed playground, with completion expected in 2026. Located at the intersection of Wolf Creek Park SE and Wolf Willow Boulevard SE, Fish Park will feature: 

• One of Calgary’s tallest playground slides at 3.5 stories 

• Fish Park will be seamlessly connected to Fish Creek Provincial Park to the north via the Bow River Regional Pathway system 

• A variety of climbing and play structures 

• Easy access between Promenade Park and Fish Park 

Fish Park represents the final connection in Wolf Willow’s extensive pathway network, linking Woof Willow Dog Park on the west side, and Wolf Park in the heart of the community.

Wolf Willow Blvd Landscaping Brings New Connections to Wolf Willow

One of the most exciting accomplishments of 2025 was the completion of Wolf Willow Blvd Landscaping stretching from 194th to 210th Avenue SE on Wolf Willow Blvd SE. Completed alongside the opening of the new 210th Avenue SE connection, this milestone marks an important step forward in how residents move through and beyond the community. The enhanced landscaping improves connectivity and walkability while elevating the look and feel of this key corridor. Thoughtfully designed pathways, added green space, and cohesive streetscape elements help create a more welcoming experience for residents – whether you’re walking, cycling, or heading out for the day. 

With two main access points now available via 194th Avenue SE and 210th Avenue SE, getting around is easier and more convenient than ever. The new connection also brings residents closer to nearby amenities in our neighbouring WestCreek community of Legacy and provides a direct route to Macleod Trail, making everyday errands and outings more accessible.  

New Show Home Parades Opened 

This fall, Wolf Willow celebrated the opening of its newest laned and front garage show home parade, located at Wolf Hollow Rise SE and Wolf Hollow Common SE. These homes showcase thoughtful designs and modern features from respected builders including Jayman BUILT, Morrison Homes, and Trico Homes. 

In addition, a new townhome show home by Look Master Builder opened at 702 Wolf Willow Boulevard SE.
